Bulgaria represented at 2019 IMMAF-WMMAA Senior World Championships in Manama, Bahrain

2019 IMMAF-WMMAA World Championships
Bulgaria will be represented at the 2019 International Mixed Martial Arts Federation-World Mixed Martial Arts Association Senior World Championships of Amateur MMA. The combat sports event will take place at the Khalifa Sports City from November 10-16, 2019.

Including Bulgaria, 49 countries will be represented at the 2019 IMMAF-WMMAA Senior World Championships. It will be held in parallel with the 2019 Junior World Championships.

Audience entry to the arena is free. The action will be streamed live internationally at IMMAF TV.

The 2019 IMMAF-WMMAA Senior World Championships is hosted by the Bahrain MMA Federation (BMMAF) under the auspices of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. Here is the list of eight MMA fighters representing Bulgaria at the tournament:
  1. Oktay Arif - Men's Flyweight 56.7 kg (125 lbs)
  2. Denislav Hadzhiev - Men's Bantamweight 61.2 kg (135 lbs)
  3. Zdravko Dimitrov - Men's Featherweight 65.8 kg (145 lbs)
  4. Deqn Galinov - Men's Lightweight 70.3 kg (155 lbs)
  5. iordan Marinov - Men's Lightweight 70.3 kg (155 lbs)
  6. Rusi Minev - Men's Welterweight 77.1 kg (170 lbs)
  7. Bozhidar Ivanov - Men's Welterweight 77.1 kg (170 lbs)
  8. Stilian Ivanov - Men's Light Heavyweight 93 kg (205 lbs)
On November 10, 2019, there will be a tournament draw and the competition will run from November 11-14, 2019 and on November 16, 2019 starting at 11 a.m. (UTC +3) each day. All matches will take place under Unified Amateur MMA Rules.
