Miss Asia Pacific International 2019 results: Spain's Chaiyenne Huisman inherits Sharifa Akeel's crown

Chaiyenne Huisman, 20, of Spain has been crowned as the successor of Miss Asia Pacific International 2018 Sharifa Areef Mohammad Omar Akeel, 22, of the Philippines. The new queen bested 53 other candidates.

Hailing from Madrid, Spain, Huisman speaks six languages. The newly crowned Miss Asia Pacific International 2019 loves scuba diving, rollerskating and training her horses.

Runner-up to Huisman as Miss Asia Pacific International 2019 was Eoanna Constanza, 24, of Dominican Republic while Jessica Victoria Cianchino, 21, of Canada, Carolina Schüler, 25, of Brazil and Fiorella Cortez, 25, of Costa Rica were the respective second, third and fourth runners-up. Before being crowned Miss Asia Pacific International 2019, Huisman won one of the special awards from one of the sponsors. She was named Miss Fashion India in the preliminary event at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on October 5, 2019.

Including Schüler, a total of 54 women from Asia Pacific and neighboring countries competed in Miss Asia Pacific International 2019. Hosted by Samir "Sam YG" Gogna, 35, Joey Mead-King, 43, and "Celebrity Car Wars" host Bobby Tonelli, 43, the coronation night took place at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on October 9, 2019.

Among the sponsors of Miss Asia Pacific International 2019 were Trainstation, the University of Perpetual Help, Sherlock Lockset, King 3 Lang, Zanea Shoes, Teledata, Sherlux, Sony Boy Mindo Couture and Thistles and Blooms.
