Ukraine represented at 2019 IMMAF-WMMAA Senior World Championships in Manama, Bahrain

2019 IMMAF-WMMAA World Championships
Ukraine will be represented at the 2019 International Mixed Martial Arts Federation-World Mixed Martial Arts Association Senior World Championships of Amateur MMA. The combat sports event will take place at the Khalifa Sports City in Manama, Bahrain from November 10-16, 2019.

Audience entry to the arena is free. The action will be streamed live internationally at IMMAF TV.
Including Ukraine, 49 countries will be represented at the 2019 IMMAF-WMMAA Senior World Championships. It will be held in parallel with the 2019 Junior World Championships.

The 2019 IMMAF-WMMAA Senior World Championships is hosted by the Bahrain MMA Federation (BMMAF) under the auspices of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. Here is the list of 12 MMA fighters representing Ukraine at the tournament:

  6. Vladyslav Dubkov - Men's Bantamweight 61.2 kg (135 lbs)
  7. Nadiia Honcharova - Women's Bantamweight 61.2 kg (135 lbs)
  8. Artem Afanasenko - Men's Featherweight 65.8 kg (145 lbs)
  9. Tetiana Liashuk - Women's Featherweight 65.8 kg (145 lbs)
  10. Pavel Senchenko - Men's Lightweight 70.3 kg (155 lbs)
  11. Ivan Kurelaru - Men's Welterweight 77.1 kg (170 lbs)
  12. Dima Ruzhytskyi - Men's Light Heavyweight 93 kg (205 lbs)

On November 10, 2019, there will be a tournament draw and the competition will run from November 11-14, 2019 and on November 16, 2019 starting at 11 a.m. (UTC +3) each day. All matches will take place under Unified Amateur MMA Rules.

Andrei Arlovski Belarus has one representative at "UFC 244." He is mixed martial arts veteran and actor Andrei "The Pitbull" Arlovski, 40. Denmark's Ole Laursen shortlisted for KHK World Championship in Bahrain

  KHK World Championship belt Ole "Iron Fist" Laursen, 42, has a chance to become the inaugural KHK World Champion. He is the only fighter from Denmark in the shortlist of mixed martial artists released by Brave Combat Federation and Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa Mixed Martial Arts. Brave CF and KHK MMA will hold the first ever KHK World Championship in Bahrain on November 15, 2019.
