Belarus has one representative at "UFC 244." He is mixed martial arts veteran and actor Andrei "The Pitbull" Arlovski, 40.

Hailing from Minsk, Belarus, Arlovski is one of the 24 MMA fighters on the "UFC 244" fight card. It marks his 30th bout in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Featuring 12 MMA bouts, the UFC will hold "UFC 244" at the Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York, United States on November 2, 2019. In the fourth match of the evening, Arlovski will compete in the heavyweight division against Jairzinho “Bigi Boy” Rozenstruik, 31, of Paramaribo, Suriname.

An undefeated fighter, Rozenstruik is coming out of two consecutive UFC wins. He holds a professional MMA record of 8 wins and 0 loss.

On the other hand, Arlovski is coming out of a unanimous decision victory. He defeated Ben Rothwell at "UFC on ESPN 4" at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas, USA on July 20, 2019.
Born on February 4, 1979 in Babruysk, Mogilev, Belarus, Arlovski was 20 years old when he made his professional MMA debut  at the Mix Fight M-1 in St. Petersburg, Russia on April 9, 1999. He was knocked out by Viacheslav Valerievich Datsik, 42, of St. Petersburg.

After the loss, Arlovski redeemed himself by winning four bouts in 2000. When he made his UFC debut on November 17, 2000, he submitted Aaron Brink via armbar at "UFC 28."

From 2002 to 2005, Arlovski defeated six opponents in the UFC consecutively. The opponents were Ian Freeman, Vladimir Matyushenko, Wesley Correira, Tim Sylvia, Justin Eilers and Paul Buentello.
From 2006 to 2008, Arlovski defeated three UFC opponents namely Marcio Cruz, Fabricio Werdum and Jake O'Brien. Afterwards, the Belarusian fighter moved to other promotions.

In 2014, Arlovski returned to the UFC and defeated Brendan Schaub and Antonio Silva. In 2015, Travis Browne and Frank Mir lost to the Minsk native, who went on to beat Junior Albini and Stefan Struve in 2017 and in 2018, respectively.

As an actor, Arlovski played Bosco in the 2006 crime movie "8 of Diamonds." He also appeared in "Universal Soldier: Regeneration" and "Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning" in 2009 and in 2012, respectively.

Arlovski played Aleksey Basayev in "Limitless" Season 1 episode 7 titled "Brian Finch's Black Op," which aired on November 3, 2015 on CBS. He played a Russian mobster in the 2018 action crime sequel "The Equalizer 2," which starred Denzel Washington and Pedro Pascal.

If Arlovski beats Rozenstruik at "UFC 244," it will be the Belarusian contender's 18th victory in the UFC. Here is a recent interview with the actor-MMA fighter:
